+If someone would write a script that would work with… well, let’s say, just hypothetically, a software package like [ExpressionEngine](http://www.pmachine.com/expressionengine/), that would allow an author to take full advantage of post-dated entries by storing a request for, and then sending, appropriate pings (to blo.gs, or blogrolling.com, or whathaveyou) at the moment that the post-dated entry is actually published.
