Spending today tinkering with a combination of ideas that have surfaced in my Mastodon feed over the last several days:

1. Shawn Graham’s [use of MkDocs with Obsidian](https://scholar.social/@electricarchaeo/109509677941629851) to create easy markdown-based web publishing.
2. Tim Hutton’s [script that converts your downloaded Twitter archive](https://mathstodon.xyz/@timhutton/109316834651128246) to markdown files.
3. Somebody’s suggestion (which I did not bookmark and can no longer find) to publish your Twitter archive via a static site generator like Eleventy.

The result: [Birdsite](https://kfitz.github.io/birdsite), a semi-navigable archive of my various twitterings between 2008 and 2022.
