Bob Stein, founder of the [Institute for the Future of the Book](http://futureofthebook.org/) and key supporter of [MediaCommons](http://mediacommons.futureofthebook.org/), has posted a provocation entitled [“Proposing a Taxonomy of Social Reading,”](http://futureofthebook.org/social-reading/) in conjunction with his presentation at the [Books in Browsers](http://reading20.posterous.com/ia-books-in-browsers-2010-agenda) gathering, which wrapped up yesterday. It’s great to get this glimpse of what took place there, and to have a venue for further discussion of this text in the form for which it argues.
