Yesterday’s prompt:
Friendship. How has a friend changed you or your perspective on the world this year? Was this change gradual, or a sudden burst?
This one’s short but sweet: R. and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary. He’s my best friend, the best friend I could ever have asked for, and he’s changed the way I see everything. Not least of all myself.
We’re headed to Prague for Christmas (a repeat of a trip we took there this time four years ago) and to Dublin for New Year’s (a new city for both of us). There’s no one I’d rather see the world with, this year, and for many more to come.
